With proven experience across a broad range of property sectors, our Built Environments team have expertise in high rise buildings, medium density residential developments, builder display homes, commercial, retail and industrial buildings, as well as special purpose developments such as hotels, child care centres and retirement living facilities. We specialise in integrated housing, mixed use residential and retail, estate guideline administration, and in maximising land use possibilities on infill and urban renewal sites.

Our design, planning and architecture professionals work together to provide an integrated approach which combines the desire to provide aesthetically pleasing, practical & energy efficient solutions with buildability to ensure that all aspects of construction are considered within the early design development stages. The team provide expertise in the creation of initial design concepts including yield studies through to final designs, the creation of Development Design Guidelines on behalf of developers, the assessment of third party applications against Development Design Guidelines, Rescode assessments and Space and workflow planning for commercial and industrial areas.

Servicing both the government and private sectors our Built Environments planning team possess an in-depth knowledge of Vic and NSW planning systems, and provide professional services in relation to statutory planning including VCAT (or LEC) representation, preparation of built form layout for planning and land sale purposes, obtaining of planning permits (or development consent) for all forms of residential, industrial and mixed use development and the formulation of development (control) plans.
