At Taylors we recognise the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and strive to benefit the local and wider community through an enduring program of Aid and Corporate Social Responsibility -‘Our Community’
Taylors is committed to the communities in which we operate, and the Our Community CSR Program is dedicated to creating opportunities and empowering people within these communities.
Throughout the years Taylors have sought to support Our Community in different ways and this contribution has taken many forms from large scale pro bono & aid work in countries like Vietnam, Bangladesh and Fiji, to small scale donations to local charities.
The Smith Family’s Learning for Life program recognises that disadvantaged children need extra support to stay at school and go on to further studies or a job. Learning for Life helps create better futures for children in need by providing:
- financial assistance from a sponsor to help disadvantaged families afford the cost of their child’s education;
- support from a Learning for Life Program Coordinator to connect the child and their family to local learning opportunities and other supports; and
- access to Smith Family educational programs to help children get the most out of their school years.
This Movember, Taylors is supporting a number of clients and employees as they join with the Movember Foundation and grow moustaches to raise funds and awareness for men’s health issues and research.
The Movember Foundation is a leading charity changing the face of men’s health. They’re addressing some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention. The Movember Foundation find and fund the most innovative research to have both a global and local impact. Challenging the status quo, and investing quickly in what works. In 15 years they’ve funded more than 1,200 men’s health projects around the world. From humble beginnings back in 2003 the Movember movement has grown to be a truly global one, inspiring support from over 5 million Mo Bros and Mo Sistas.
