Taylors complete Train-The-Trainer Course in Bangladesh
Congratulations – Training is over – where’s my beer!
We share the news that the circle of friendship and learning between Taylors and the Department of Land Records and Survey in Dhaka Bangladesh has been further strengthened by the successful completion of the training provided over the last two weeks.
We thank Director General Mannan for allowing us the opportunity to offer his team the best training possible that time allowed and to provide professional development to our staff.
We also thank Bob Cross for his part in bringing us all together and in facilitating this interaction.
Our champion over the last two weeks was young surveyor Alastair MacColl stepping outside his comfort zone but with a firm resolve – “to do it well”. And he did do it well! And now all his new friends want to come to his wedding!:)
I was very fortunate to see this stirring and connection during my participation at the tail end of the course. There was plenty of banter between “Mr Bob” and “Mr Alastair” too, which was fun.
The closing ceremony was held yesterday, but we were back there today and will be back again tomorrow to ensure all of the important questions raised are fully answered. We want to go home knowing we have done all we can.
